We’ve had some questions about how the navigation in the Contributor Inner Cloister section works, so we’re pleased to provide an easy to understand overview right here.
Before you sign up for an account, you will see that there is a large bar that starts with the word “Home.” This is your main navigation bar. Across it, you will also see the words Community, Links, Achievements, About, World, Updates, and Outer Site.
Home
Takes you to the main page (if you’re a logged in contributor, it will take you back to your Activity page)
Community
Takes you to the following:
Activity – the main page for contributors and would be like Facebook’s Wall
Members – The directory of all activated contributors
Groups – The directory of the different public and private Factions you can join in the World of Depleted
Forums – A place to post ideas and thoughts (still in beta)
Links
The links that have been uploaded by other contributors that might be of use to you
Achievements
The location of many of the great achievements you can unlock in the Contributor inner cloister, many of which unlock new privileges or secret content
About
This is where you can find out about the World of Depleted Contributor area if you’re new. Specialized links include:

World
The location for all the content in the World of Depleted, including:
Challenges – The great mini-content contests and inspirations for folks to make things in the World quickly and easily.
Canon (by Contributor) – A listing of all official content by contributor
Canon (by Title) – A listing of all official content by title
Unlockable Content – A list of the different types of content that you can unlock with enough achievements or contributions
Submit New Content – If you already have an idea for something, this will let you submit it directly
Resources - A listing of both official and inspirational resources to help get the creative juices flowing
Updates
Your home for all your contributor updates. These are most commonly updates about new changes to the community itself, as personal posts are usually done on each of our walls.
Outer Site
This takes you to the World of Depleted News site which has lots of information about new releases on content, new ways to pick it up, and new things that are coming down the pike!
OPTIONS AFTER REGISTRATION
Whenever you sign in, you will automatically start on your Activity page, where you will see that the “Community” tab is already lit up. You will also have an additional navigation bar at the top left of the screen, right beside the words “The World of Depleted Inner Cloister.” Depending on your account profile, you will most likely see My Account, Notifications, Chat, and, at the far right, Visit. (If you rise to a certain level, you will also see the Dashboard icon, which allows you the ability to post in the Updates section and even create new Pages upon approval.)
My Account
Special options that pertain to the specific community page you are in. For example, in the Activity page, this menu will have one set of options, but if you are in the Groups section you will find additional options available.
Notifications
Exactly what you’d expect from social sites like Facebook and Twitter, Notifications let you know if you have pending messages, friend requests, group approvals, etc.
Chat
This gives you two options for chatting. The Shoutbox option will pull up a pop up window so you can chat while navigating around the site (much like Facebook or Google chat), while the basic Chat option allows you to go to a standalone chat room.
