Choreograph and film a 2-4 minute gun battle set in the chaos of the Fall, in which only handguns will be utilized. Use the information found in the recent article at Microfilmmaker to get ideas on how to do it well.

Basic Premise

During and after the Fall, many secret societies were revealed. Some, like the Knights of Xeno, use the terror of the time to accomplish their own purposes, which may not be beneficial to mankind. Others, however, arise to try and help. The nomadic Traveler society, long distrusted for its Gypsy ways, actually starts having certain bands of members start to provide aid to non-Travelers. (It is rumored that such men and women gave rise to the ‘Code of the Traveler’ itself.)

Specifics of This Challenge

Create a specific secret society that either arose or was created in the time of the Fall and the days thereafter from a unique corner of the world. Write a tale about one of their members and the work they are currently involved in, whether this be for good, evil, or neutral purposes.

Specifics of This Challenge

Come up with a list of at least five unique words that you’ve discovered in your research of Depleted’s canon and submit them, along with your best guess at what they mean based on their usage. If it’s uniquely referred to in Depleted lore, it’s fair game.

While concerted attacks were part of the Fall, the largest source of destruction came not through nuclear or biological weapons, but through traditional weapons.
Specifics of This Challenge

Your challenge is to create any weapon and a detachable projectile that would fit it at as close to photo-real quality as you can. (These should be high enough quality that they could be featured in a video game cut sequence or a feature film.) Examples can be everything from modern to ancient that could be available now (or that has been officially announced by a company), including: Pistols and ammo (with detachable bullets from cases), Sniper rifles and ammo (with detachable bullets from cases), Shotgun, Shells, and Shot, Bows & Arrows, Throwing axes and tomahawks, Blow guns and darts, Spears, Hand Grenades, Slings and Rocks, Rocket launchers and rockets, Grenade Launchers with 40mm Grenades. (Obviously, this excludes phasers, laser weapons, and alien weaponry.)
Accepted Contributions Receive:

Right to be featured in the “3D Assets of Depleted” Collection, with full profit sharing based off the WoD Contributor Agreement, that will be released in the near future. Chance to help create one of the custom effects sequences for the Depleted feature. All accepted entries receive a secret content/backstory unlockable for World of Depleted.

You’ve all seen the new Forsaken film from Ben Nash & James de Paula Hanika.  In it, there’s a sequence where the protagonist and his young charge must try to escape from a group of angry thugs.  We want you to create a role playing scenario based on this scene!
Specifics of This Challenge

Create a role playing scenario that re-imagines the scene in Forsaken in which two people–a man and a boy–must defend themselves against five to eight street toughs armed with whatever they can scrounge up. Remember that ammo is pretty rare after the Fall, especially in England.

When the Grid is temporarily shut down in the west, things go from bad to awful as a populace that has never been without communications suddenly is cut off. Left feeling helpless, many protests begin with furvor, especially in large cities. Marshal law and curfews are declared to try to keep people from destroying people and property, but the reaction to additional requirements is bloody and immediate, as protests convert into angry mob riots. In the midst of it all, small anti-Tech factions like the Knights of Xeno speak against technology as the root of all government control, encouraging protestors to destroy technology to free themselves from “the shackles of government oppression.” The deadly riots combine the worst of the New York City riots in the ’70′s, the LA riots around Rodney King in the ’90′s, and the New Orleans riots during Katrina in the ’00′s.
Specifics of This Challenge

Dress up as a survivor of the Fall, set up your camera in a battered location, and tell us your tale. Show us your war wounds and make us believe how your character somehow managed to escape with their life.

Basic Premise

Because of the plagues and the rise in highwaymen and slave traders, micro-communities and kingdoms have arisen to protect people from the outside atrocities. Most of these communities started as communes or survivalist groups, but have grown. Now they require papers for entry and some form of testing, to try to limit dangerous infiltrators and plague bearers. (If you’ve seen the TV show Jericho, the latter part of season 1 could represent a small town “kingdom” and its struggles.) Some of the more aggressive communities, having been deceived by forgers, require their members to take a more permanent form of verification, such as ritualistic scarring, branding, or tattooing.
Specifics of This Challenge

Create a short story showcasing the trials of a small group trying to either create a commune or a group trying to uphold an existing commune against some threat.
