Basic Premise

During and after the Fall, many secret societies were revealed. Some, like the Knights of Xeno, use the terror of the time to accomplish their own purposes, which may not be beneficial to mankind. Others, however, arise to try and help. The nomadic Traveler society, long distrusted for its Gypsy ways, actually starts having certain bands of members start to provide aid to non-Travelers. (It is rumored that such men and women gave rise to the ‘Code of the Traveler’ itself.)
Specifics of This Challenge

Following on the heels of last weeks Writing Challenge (What Secrets Lurk?), you are now challenged to come up with unique symbols or logos for secret societies that may have arisen before or after the Fall.

Basic Premise

When the Grid is temporarily shut down in the west, things go from bad to awful as a populace that has never been without communications suddenly is cut off. Left feeling helpless, many protests begin with furvor, especially in large cities. Marshal law and curfews are declared to try to keep people from destroying people and property, but the reaction to additional requirements is bloody and immediate, as protests convert into angry mob riots. In the midst of it all, small anti-Tech factions like the Knights of Xeno speak against technology as the root of all government control, encouraging protestors to destroy technology to free themselves from “the shackles of government oppression.” The deadly riots combine the worst of the New York City riots in the ’70′s, the LA riots around Rodney King in the ’90′s, and the New Orleans riots during Katrina in the ’00′s.
Specifics of This Challenge

Create a visual image of buildings and property that looks like it has been damaged in riots, storms, war, and/or recent neglect through photography, drawing, painting, 3D art, or a combination of all of these. Stitched together panoramas are also encouraged!

The chance to be featured in the Depleted picture book, Ruins of Depleted, as well as the chance to be featured in an associated calendar. Canonized contributions will also unlock one of the new Unlockables from our World of Depleted Unlockables Section.
