The burning city is definitely a startling shot. And the casual way he continues on with the dead around, it captures the mindset and place the character has settled into… a numb type of acceptance?
He’s a good man with emotional scars. Here is a guy who has seen everyone he knows die, including what could only be a horrifying experience with his own wife and child. We did script and shoot a number of scenes with him finding the dead at times. Some scared, some emotional, some empty, but we ended up giving him a cold resolve and the ability to look past the horrors on this journey. [Although there are a few points where this resolve doesn't quite hold up.]

This is cracking mate. I’ve just watched the whole thing and loved it. What on earth inspired you to take on such a project? Whatever it was you should be thinking about the next one and Cannes! Well done mate and loved the cameo role of Simon. The website is great too – a really good look and feel.
